Hello everyone. We hope your fall semester has continued running smoothly and productively and that you’re as excited as we are for this fall’s NECoPA! We have finished reviewing submitted panel and paper proposals and decision letters will be going out today. We are extremely excited about the work you are all doing and cannot wait to learn about it in November. As the title of the post suggests, we have opened the registration portal for presenters and panelists. The links can also be found on the landing page and the conference page. Registration fees will be $75 for student attendees and $115 for professionals and academics. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any problems you encounter or questions you may have.
We also think NECoPA can be a very useful place for graduate students at both the Master’s and Doctorate levels to experience an academic conference, learn about research on the boundaries of our knowledge, and hear presentations from practitioners about the things they are currently grappling with in public service. Toward that end, we welcome students to register for the conference as an attendee-only by completing this form. Professors who are interested in encouraging attendance as part of a class or program, please send a link to the form to your students for their registration purposes.
We will be leaving the submissions portal open for two more weeks (until Friday October 8th) and will review any late submissions on a rolling basis until then. If you missed the initial deadline but have an exciting idea, please don’t hesitate to submit while the portal is live!
Finally, we have a lot of exciting updates, news, and plans that we will be announcing in the coming weeks leading up to the conference, including some incredible keynote speakers, a fun virtual networking event planned, and general guides for using the tech needed for a fun and successful virtual conference. We will post updates regularly here so please stay tuned-in to this space!
