November 6–8 | Portsmouth, New Hampshire
About the Conference
The Northeast Conference on Public Administration (NECoPA) brings together more than 250 practitioners and academics to share research, best practices, and network. This conference will mark NECoPA’s 5th anniversary of bringing together scholars and practitioners from the northeast region, the United States, and internationally.
2014 Conference Theme
The theme for NECoPA 2014, Building Bridges: Working Towards Collaborative Governance, recognizes that public problems are not solved in silos. Collaborative relationships are often captured solely through the lens of government contracting or public private partnerships. While these are often the most visible forms of collaborative governance, collaboration works in all shapes and sizes. From a basic memorandum of understanding to a monumental international treaty, public goals are reached through any number of collaborative arrangements.
